About We Effect
We Effect is a Swedish NGO established in 1958, with operations in over 20 countries. In East Africa, they focus on sustainable rural development and adequate housing, through cooperatives. Their work is strengthening the ability of smallholder coffee, milk, and forest farmers to adopt sustainable farming methods, provide food for their families, and live off the sale of their products.
DDFinance is providing low-income households with hospital and last-expense insurance. Sickness or death can break the economy of a vulnerable family. With affordable insurance from DDFinance, these households have a safety net in case of an unforeseen tragic event, making the family economy more robust in situations like this.
